“Therapy isn’t just about feeling better—it’s about living better, with clarity, connection, and purpose. If you’re ready to start, let’s talk.”
– Avi Anderson
Therapy is a commitment—so is staying stuck.
Sure, therapy takes time, energy, and money.
But what’s it quietly costing you to feel disconnected in your relationships, overwhelmed by anxiety, or unsure where you’re headed?
When you keep pushing through without support, it’s easy to start believing that this is just how life has to be.
You deserve more than that.
You are worth the investment.
You’re allowed to choose something that gives back to you.
You are worth this.
You’re allowed to invest in something that gives back.
Therapy helps you shift from just surviving to actually living.
You start to feel more grounded, more connected, more like you.
And that version of you ripples into everything—your relationships, your work, your sense of peace.
Why choose me?
This isn’t therapy where we just vent and nod and repeat the same old patterns.
I bring evidence-based tools and honest feedback to help you move forward.
We’ll go deep—but we’ll stay grounded.
I’ll meet you where you are and walk with you toward where you want to be – and perhaps past where I have ever been!
How much does therapy cost?
All 50 minute sessions (intake, individual, couple)
$145
All 80 minute sessions (recommended for high conflict couples)
$200
Sessions are held weekly, especially at the beginning of treatment. While some patients’ treatment can last from several months to a year, others can see significant improvement after just a few sessions. Treatment is highly individualized, and care is tailored to meet you where you are.
When preparing to start therapy, it is reasonable to plan for a minimum of 10-12 weeks of treatment. Patients are encouraged to estimate their total costs based on their copay or private pay rate so they can plan accordingly.
Is therapy covered by insurance?
I currently accept a few types of insurance, including:
Aetna
Anthem
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Cigna and Evernorth
Health Plan of Nevada
Sierra Health (SHL)
United Medical Resources (UMR)
UnitedHealthcare (UHC/UBH)
Medicaid
Once our office verifies your benefits, we will guide you through the next steps. Scheduling will follow once coverage is concerned.
Therapy without insurance
Even if you are not able to use insurance, if you're ready to do the real work—the kind that changes how you live, love, and show up—I’m here for you.
All major forms of payment are accepted at Avi Anderson Therapy, including HSA and FSA cards. Payment is collected at the time of the session.
For patients using out-of-network benefits, I can provide a therapy superbill. This document provides important information necessary for a provider to process a claim, allowing you to receive reimbursement for a certain percentage of the cost.
